Banging My Head Against The Wall Of Voo Doo
Wow, What a week! The count down has begun one more week before I have to go back to work. Chance is very excited about going back to school. I think he's had enough of Daddy and Papa time. He will be entering Kindergarten and is very excited about learning how to read.

I just came back from a knitting group at Knitch. Knitch is this fabulous knitting store in Atlanta its located in the Virginia Highlands area. It's a very warm, inviting, and friendly store. Famous Steve works there on Sundays. Lou invited all the men to come out and knit, its great to see more men picking up the knitting needles. I also belong to a knitting group on Friday. This is where I met Claudia. Claudia is awesome! She helped me with my hand spinning last week. One of my goals is to get a spinning wheel so I can spin my own yarn. Claudia has a fan club here are some members wearing a shirt "I knit because I know Claudia" Claudia also spins with a wheel, we both want to learn to spin our dog hair, but I am going to let Claudia try that out first. She also has a blog at bavgirl.com

Here's Mikael learning to spin.

Dee, Greg, Dave, and I went to see Stan Ridgeway/Wall of Voo Doo Friday Night. He was excellent. He sang all the hits: Just Drive She Said, Don't Box me in, Mexican Radio, and Ring of Fire. For an old Jewish woman he sure had some energy.

Here's a BIG SHOUT OUT TO PAULA, she was the first to comment on the blog. I think I need to knit her a nice Noro Scarf for the winter. I sure don't miss those cold winters.
This Friday will be my eight year wedding Anniversary and I finally finished the sweater vest for my Josef. We were married in Vermont on August 3, 1999 and I would do it all over again. This has been the best eight years ever. Jean was my best girl at the wedding (hint for Jean to send a card).
I am going to try and update the Blog every Sunday so bookmark and see whats happening in the life of a Dad who knits.
